Healthcare planning and design is full of complexities and problem-solving, which Jessica finds satisfying to work through, however, the people are the reason why she chooses healthcare as a career focus. There are many emotions when entering a healthcare facility and often stress is heightened. Through design, she can ease patient stress and create spaces that function well for care providers. Jessica has earned client trust by providing building designs and spaces that support the mission of each facility to provide life-enhancing and life-saving care for patients. No matter the scale, a project is always rewarding when it ultimately helps improve the patient and staff experience. Some of the projects that Jessica is grateful to have been a part of include the Huntsman Cancer Institute Kathryn F. Kirk Building, University of Utah Orthopaedic Center OR & PACU remodel, St. Luke’s Boise DCIP project, and the Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
